A College Picnic was organised at Wet-n-Joy Water Park, Lonavala on Wednesday 21st January 2026. Bus travel, entry ticket, lunch and evening snacks were included in the package costing rupees 1,550/- per student.

Students submitted the money and undertaking form to M.Com. Leader Prashant Pawar before 19th January 2026.

On the morning of 19th January 2026 students assembled in the college at 7.00 am. They carried lycra clothing to wear at the water park. Picnic nick-nacks, bluetooth speakers, caps, goggles and stylish picnic wear clad cheerful students hustled and bustled around the college MP Hall. Pending student undertaking forms were collected and the file kept in the college. Breakfast packets for the journey were collected. The students boarded the bus waiting outside the college premises. The college banner was put on the bus and coconut broken to flag off the picnic journey. The teachers Prof. Dr. Lata Krishnan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tushar Pawar, Dr. Harsh Shukla and Asst. Prof. Vijaylaxmi Gupta took their positions in the bus.

Breakfast (poha) packets were distributed to students. Mineral water bottles too were handed out. Singing, Dancing, laughing and cheerful shrills filled the air and continued till the destination. “Wet-n-Joy” Water Park, Lonavala was reached at 11.00 am. Here the students got their entry bands and formed groups to go to the different rides in the park. There were roller coasters, slides, lazy pools, wave pools and many many more interesting rides in the park. The students had a lot of fun and took pictures to capture the fun moments! They were instructed to report for lunch to the designated restaurant in the park. A multi-cusine buffet was spread for the students which they enjoyed at leisure. In the evening at 4.30 pm students moved to the wash rooms to bathe. They changed and got ready to leave. Tea and samosas were served before the return journey. M.Com. student Prashant Pawar counted the students and the group boarded the bus. Their faces were glowing and their energy levels were still high. Though sad to leave, they had smiling faces. They took group pics and strolled slowly towards the bus.

The return journey was as much fun as the onward journey. Students played Antakshari, danced and clapped on the bus. The students munched on their snacks and stopped over to shop for the famous Lonavala Chikki and fudge. The bus reached the college at 8.30 p.m. and the students cheered for the college “Three Cheers for MNDC, HIP HIP HURRAY! They thanked the college Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar and teachers for organizing the picnic.

All the students and teachers had an enjoyable day and will remember the fun-moments and excitement of the picnic for a long time.
