The NSS Volunteers of Mahatma Night Degree College enthusiastically celebrated the birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose, popularly known as Netaji, on the college campus. The celebration was organized with great zeal and a sense of patriotism to honor his immense contribution to India’s freedom struggle.
On this occasion, the volunteers visited different classrooms and interacted with students to spread awareness about the life, ideology, and sacrifices of Netaji. They highlighted his role as a revolutionary leader, his formation of the Indian National Army, and his efforts to mobilize Indians against British rule. Special emphasis was given to his powerful and inspiring slogans such as “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom” and “Jai Hind,” explaining their significance in motivating people during the struggle for independence.
The volunteers also spoke about the relevance of Netaji’s ideals in today’s time, encouraging students to develop a sense of discipline, courage, and dedication towards the nation. The activity aimed to instill patriotic values among students and deepen their understanding of India’s rich history.
