Chief Guest and Dr. Arvind Singh was welcomed at the entrance of the college, with the customary NCC piloting, escorted by NCC incharge Prof. Dr. Lata Krishnan. There was a high tea arranged in the conference room where Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar and Vice-Principal Ms. Hemal Shah welcomed the chief guest. After the tea session the dignitaries moved to the ground floor MP hall for the NCC Day programme. NCC Incharge Dr. Lata Krishnan made the opening remarks. She expressed her joy in showcasing the activities of the college NCC Unit for the year 2025-26. Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar welcomed the gathering and chief guest ANO Dr. Arvind Singh. He spelled out the significance of NCC and the future career opportunities for the NCC cadets.

The events as scheduled in the programme unfolded. The NCC cadets demonstrated their skills in Drill, Section Attack, Martial Art, Human Pyramid, Self Defense, fight, breaking. CDT Naitik Rankhambe was master of ceremonies. The NCC Activities 2025-26 were presented by CDT Naitik Rankhambe using a powerpoint presentation made by SUO Sumit Ballal of T.Y.B.Com. class. The report was interesting and filled with action photos.

The last event was the prize distribution ceremony, the NCC cadets were presented with trophies and medals recognising their work in the NCC unit. Sr. NCC Cadets were given floral tributes acknowledging their contribution as mentors and coaches to the young NCC unit of the college. The chief Guest addressed the gathering after the prize distribution ceremony.

In his Keynote Address and Dr. Arvind Singh said that he was happy to see such a good show put up by NCC cadets of a night college. He felt proud of the fact that the cadets were a part of the Khalsa College NCC unit. He highlighted the importance of dedication, discipline, efforts and focus required by NCC cadets to work effectively. He counseled students to be responsible students and ensure that they do well not only in NCC activities but also in academics. He said this focus was necessary for securing a good career.

The event concluded with the formal vote of thanks proposed by cadet Naitik Rankhambe and the singing of the national anthem. Refreshments were served to all the participants of NCC Day.
