6 students of the college participated in the event – Patriotic Group Singing. The NCC cadets of the college also participated in the Independence Day programme.
All the institutions of the Chembur campus presented patriotic events like songs, dances, speeches and skits. Chocolates were distributed to all the participants. Dr. K. M. Vasudeven Pillai, Founder, Chairperson and CEO of Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions chaired the breakfast meeting held in classroom no. 401.
On Independence Day a group photo was taken where all the teachers of Mahatma Night Degree College along with Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Anaya Markandey along with NAAC Certificate, stood with Founder, Chairperson and CEO of Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Sir. This group photo was special as it marked the A Grade CGPA 3.25 procured by the college in their 4th NAAC cycle
