This year the focus of Friendship Day was to celebrate together and make new friends. The T.Y.B.Com. students took the lead and hosted the event. All the students had arrived at 6.00 p.m. dressed in festive clothes to have a fun-filled evening. Ms. Bhumi and Ms. Myuri addressed the gathering and welcomed all for Friendship Day celebrations. Mr. Sachin Dhaliya of T.Y.B.Com. invited Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar for sharing his thoughts on Friendship Day. In his message Principal Sir expressed his happiness that the students of the college had come enthusiastically in large numbers to celebrate friendship day. He said that a friend is the only person with whom we can share our feelings with any fear. College days are precious and college friends are special. He welcomed everyone for the event and wished them a happy friendship day!

In her address, Professor Dr. Lata Krishnan, Chairperson Cultural Committee said that Friendship is a special bond. It is important to first be your own friend and then make friends with others to enjoy the warmth and joy of true friendship.

Students put up events such as poetry recitation, Wrap, singing followed by funny games. Asst. Prof. Dr. Harsh Shukla and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tushar Pawar coordinated the balloon games. It was fun watching all the students perform and play the various balloon games. The hall was filled with laughter and good cheer.

Friendship Bands were distributed to the students and they tied colourful friendship bands to the hands, wrist of their friends and teachers. The new batch of F.Y.B.Com. students were happy to make friends with their seniors in the college. Eclair chocolates were distributed to all the students. Photographs were clicked and the event ended at 8.30 p.m.

Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar, teachers and students gathered together for a big group photo. After this the event ended.
