The theme of International Friendship Day 2025 “Building Bridges: Celebrating Diversity, Solidarity, and a Culture of Peace” was announced to the students 6 days before the event. The students were asked to dress up in party clothes, organize party games, dance to music and enjoy party snacks. They were asked to decorate the classroom and put up the theme of International Friendship Day on the blackboard of the class.

On 2nd August, 2025 the students of F.Y.B.Com., S.Y.B.Com., and T.Y.B.Com. arrived early to decorate their classrooms and the class blackboard. Students trickled in dressed in beautiful, varied, vibrant western party clothes. It was heartening to see the effort taken by some students who wore very pretty outfits.

The students created space for themselves by removing benches from the class and set up the floor for games and dance. They played Bombing the Station which is a group version of musical chairs and danced happily to recorded music of their choice. All three classes F.Y.B.Com., S.Y.B.Com., and T.Y.B.Com., had decorated their black board and written a welcome board for Friendship Day.

Students enjoyed the party environment and laughed and ran in joy, playing party games. The air was filled with the warmth and spirit of comradery.

The college teachers Associate Professor Dr. Anaya Markandeya, Associate Professor Dr. Tushar Pawar and Asst. Professor Dr. Harsh Shukla along with Cultural Committee Chairperson Professor Dr. Lata Krishnan visited all the class rooms to participate in Friendship Day celebrations. The T.Y.B.Com, and S.Y.B.Com. class had arranged for a cake on the occasion which was cut by Prof. Dr. Lata Krishnan. Group photographs were taken and glimpses of the party, fun-and-frolic were captured in camera.

Friendship Day was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and the objective of Building Bridges, celebrating Diversity, Solidarity and the culture of Peace by making bonds of friendship was successfully achieved.
